Livelihood Support (Van/Rickshaw)
Sustainable poverty alleviation requires more than just short-term handouts; it needs long-term empowerment and the dignity of labor. The Livelihood Support project creates sustainable self-employment opportunities for able-bodied poor individuals by donating tangible, income-generating assets like Rickshaws, Vans, Sewing Machines, Cattle, or Small Shop inventories. By gifting a vehicle or a tool, we enable a father to earn a decent daily wage to feed his family, or empower a mother to work from home and support her children's education costs. This transition from the humiliation of begging or the uncertainty of day labor to economic independence is profound. We vet candidates rigorously to ensure they are needy yet committed to working hard, and we monitor their progress. Help us turn dependent individuals into self-sufficient providers who can eventually help others.
